Community Enrichment Through Philanthropy and Leadership

Established in 1996 with a grant from the Lula Dicke Trust, the New Bremen Foundation supports its local community by connecting people who care with causes that matter. The New Bremen Foundation exists to make charitable giving more efficient by investing in a permanent endowment to better the New Bremen community and enhance the quality of life of its citizens.

GRANTS

The New Bremen Foundation serves local

non-profit charities and organizations as classified by the IRS under Code Section 501 C (3) in a variety of fields.

EDUCATION

The New Bremen Education Foundation

is a fundraising campaign to generate scholarship money for graduates of NBHS.

KUENNING-DICKE NATURAL AREA

The Kuenning-Dicke Natural Area, located along the historic Miami and Erie Canal between Lock One and the former site of Lock Two, offers 71 acres of wildlife protection and a peaceful site for outdoor recreation. More than 800 trees have been planted in the park to spur the return of native plant and animal species to the area. The KDNA hosts 2.5 miles of trails for walking, running, hiking and biking.
